Two songs from "Banished From Inferno", the self-titled mini-CD from the Swedish/Spanish death metal band (formerly known as BERENICE BLEEDING), are being streamed on the group's MySpace page. BANISHED FROM INFERNO's CD will be available from Ibex Moon Records and select other outlets worldwide on August 8. BANISHED FROM INFERNO features in its ranks longtime friends Rober (MACHETAZO), Phlegeton (WORMED, GODÜS, HUMAN MINCER) and Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, DEMIURG, EDGE OF SANITY). The band's only aim is to play some evil and beer-fucked old-school death metal mostly influenced by CELTIC FROST, OBITUARY, DARKTHRONE, BATHORY, old Scandinavian metal and stuff like that. BANISHED FROM INFERNO the band features long time friends from Rober (MACHETAZO), Phlegeton (WORMED, GODÜS, HUMAN MINCER...) and Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, DEMIURG, EDGE OF SANITY...) Their debut MCD will be release mid 2008.

BANISHED FROM INFERNO began life in 2003 as BERENICE BLEEDING until the name was changed in 2007. The band was started by three old friends from Spain and Sweden: Rober (MACHETAZO), Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, DEMIURG, EDGE OF SANITY, etc), and Phlegeton (WORMED, GODÜS, HUMAN MINCER, etc). Their aim was to play evil, old school Death Metal influenced by Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Obituary, Dark Throne and other classic bands.
Recently, the band inked a deal with IBEX MOON RECORDS, the label founded by John McEntee of the long-standing Death Metal stalwarts, INCANTATION. This signing will bring to light the release of BANISHED FROM INFERNO's self-titled MCD as well as their first full length album, which is to be recorded by the end of 2008.
At last, after years of beer-fueled worship and riffing, the BANISHED FROM INFERNO bandmates are ready to kick ass to the next level. So, be sure to check out the self-titled MCD, mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound (Sweden) in September 2007, to be released in July 2008 through IBEX MOON RECORDS.
