moments and condensed them down into an action-packed video tour blog.
The clip features onstage action and behind the scene antics from

And we’re back! We’ve actually been back home for the last month
getting our lives back together and didn’t want to go without giving
you all a proper recap of the “Dreaming Dead Summer U.S. Tour ‘09”,
along with sharing some video footage of this road adventure that
began in Stuart Florida, ran through Philadelphia, Rochester &
Syracuse NY, back down through Texas and ended a week early for us in
Las Vegas, where our van finally decided to break down. Non the less
we had an awesome time and returned home very happy.
We’d like to thank everyone involved in putting this tour together for
all their efforts,
Monstrosity & Torn the Fuck Apart with whom we partied & brutalized
the East Coast; the legendary men of Master & Goreaphobia that showed
us what true metal is about; and of course all the folks that came out
to bang their & support the metal scene.
So without further a do, we present to you:
“Dreaming Dead Summer Tour ’09”
(We strongly suggest you watch the video in its entirety, definitely
worth it.)

DREAMING DEAD announce extended US Tour- June 5, 2009
In addition to their upcoming trek across North America with
Pathology and the legendary Master, Dreaming Dead have been
added to the first half of Monstrosity's summer tour. Thirsty for
blood and eager to wreak havoc across the countryside, Dreaming Dead
promise to deliver nothing but the most blistering performance at
every stop. These recently added dates will see Dreaming Dead for
the entire month of July in support of their blackened and death-laden
thrashterpiece, /Within One/.
Drummer Mike Caffell comments:
"Dreaming Dead are very pleased to announce that we will be hitting
the road with death metal masters Monstrosity for the East Coast leg
of their upcoming U.S. tour! This will be our first time performing
on the East Coast and our first time sharing the stage with this
legendary act. Needless to say, we are quite excited about having the
opportunity to get out there and tear it up for everyone. Plus, this
works out nicely for us because when we part ways with Monstrosity
we’ll be picking up with Master and Pathology to round out the
rest of the U.S. on our unrelated, but oh so conveniently placed
Summer tour. Mwahaha! Chances are we’ll be playing close to YOU in
the near future, so come out to the shows! We’re bringin some heavy
shit and a good time... "

DREAMING DEAD to release Ibex Moon Records debut "Within One" on 1/20/09 - January 7, 2009
Los Angeles Dreaming Dead are a quickly rising force in extreme
metal, garnering significant national and international attention over
the short two years the band has been together. Fronted and founded by
Elizabeth Schall, Dreaming Dead released their first recording in
the summer of 2006: a four-song demo entitled /Through the Eyes// of
Insanity/ under the previous band name of Manslaughter. The reviews
for that release were stellar, leaving listeners aching for more of
the blackened, death-thrash attack reminiscent of Death, Slayer,
Cryptopsy, and Opeth. 'Impressive,' devastating,' 'technically
precise,' and 'great debut' are not terms to be thrown around lightly.
Fresh off the recording of their debut album /Within One/ — due out on
Ibex Moon Records January 20th 2009— Elizabeth Schall and Mike
Caffell have recruited Juan Ramirez on bass. Expect a busy year for
Dreaming Dead and keep your eyes out for them in your city. Necks
and ears will never be the same.
"It's heavier; it has more of a modern edge to it," says Schall when
comparing her fury-laden full-length to the demo that established the
band as a force to be reckoned with in the underground scene. "We just
hope that the album is well-received by the metal community and we
can't wait to get out on the road. We're really excited about
everything."
INFO:
Speaking of excited, we can't wait to hear your thoughts on this
intensely brutal, yet captivating and melodic slab of blackened
thrash/death. Please direct all requests, inquiries, piques of

In other news, the band has posted a recap of their recent U.S. tour.
The posting reads: "Greetings once again everyone! We’ve now returned from our 3-week tour across the U.S. and are happily sleeping in our own beds each night! We last touched base with you from Payette, Idaho (population 7500) and since then we made our way through the Midwest,
up to Michigan, down to Texas, and through the Southwest back home. We had some killer shows and some mediocre shows, but all things told we had a great time and rocked the house each night whether there were 100 people or 10. Standout shows of the second half of the tour include Champaign, Illinois (you folks are crazy, thanks for the great energy), South Bend, Indiana (this was a metal fest that included The Faceless, Abigail Williams, and Decrepit Birth), and Las Cruces, New Mexico (thanks to all the fans and bands, and no thanks to the owner that called the cops on us). We met tons of cool people along the way, many of whom were gracious enough to let us stay in their homes, use their showers, etc. We couldn’t have done this without you! Also, many of you helped us out by buying t-shirts, cds, and posters. Thanks for filling up our gas tank. We hope you like our stuff. Next up for us is the release of our debut album “Within One”, due out on Ibex Moon Records January 20th 2009. We’ll play some shows at that time to commemorate the release, and in the meantime we’re going to begin work on new material. Please keep checking up on us and keep in touch.
We’ll be busy so there should be more than enough news to keep you entertained. Thanks again to everyone that had a positive impact on our tour. It means the world to us."
