GRAVEHILL Announce Matt "Hellfiend" Harvey as permanent guitar player - July 30, 2010

With the closing of the CAMPAIGN OF DEATH METAL PURITY TOUR... GRAVEHILL would like to announce that Matt "HELLFIEND" Harvey (EXHUMED, DEKAPITATOR, REPULSION, CRETIN) has officially joined the band as our permanent guitarist! "I'm definitely psyched to wage war against posers with the GRAVEHILL boys. The tour was great, and I'm looking forward to raging with Thorgrimm, Abominator, Bodybag, and CorpseMolester as much as possible!"

We have been added to the ENTHRONED & DESTROYER 666 Los Angeles Tour date at the Ultra Violet Lounge in Los Angeles Aug. 14th, 2010' & The Ramona Theater in Ramona (San Diego) California Aug. 15th, 2010', as well as the Oct. 15th, 2010' date at The Galaxy Theater with IMMOLATION & VADER. Hellfiend will contribute to the final writing process for our next album which we have changed the title to "WHEN ALL ROADS LEAD TO HELL". We plan on entrenching at Trench Studio's with John Haddad near Thanksgiving to do all the tracking and then finish with Ryan Butler at Arcane Digital Recording for all mixing and mastering. With the amazing artwork supplied to us by Jeff Zornow for the CAMPAIGN TOUR we are glad to have him onboard to render the visuals for our new record!

GRAVEHILL's Rites of Pentagram is how real death metal is done; no fruity keyboards, no emo or fake guttural vocals, no triggered drumming, no lame sub-par At The Gates wannabe riffs, no association with the word 'core' or a band name that is a sentence long and no cramming 5,000 riffs with political themed lyrics. The re-release of Rites of the Pentagram comes complete with new packaging and includes the five-song Metal of Death/ Advocation of Murder & Suicide EP. Originally released by Enucleation Records, Ibex Moon Records has taken this uncompromising slab of true death metal and made it an essential part of any music fan's collection. Rites of the Pentagram is but a precursor for the intensity to come when GRAVEHILL unleashes an album's worth of new material later this year on Ibex Moon Records. The time of GRAVEHILL is upon us.

GRAVEHILL announces Las Vegas show - February 13, 2010

On Saturday, Februrary 20th, Ibex Moon Records' newest artists, GRAVEHILL invade Las Vegas for a night of sheer brutality at the Cheyenne Saloon. Joining GRAVEHILL will be LETUM ASCENSUS, SPUN IN DARKNESS, HELL HATH NO FURY, DEPTHS OF MISERY, THE GENOCIDE ARCHITECT and KINAM. Doors for the event are at 7:00 PM and tickets are $10.

In other GRAVEHILL news, look for the 12" vinyl release of Rites Of The Pentagram in the coming months, via Ibex Moon Records. The band will also be putting the CD version of said release, complete with new packaging and the inclusion of the five-song Metal Of Death / Advocation Of Murder & Suicide EP. Summer of 2010 will see the release of GRAVEHILL’s sophomore record Pravus Tryannis Returning to Trench Studios under the skilled engineering helm of John Haddad. Some titles set to appear on this release are “Unholy Executioner”, “Suffer No Man to Live”, “When All Roads Lead to Hell”, “Devil Worshiper,” and “War Prayers.”

GRAVEHILL signs to Ibex Moon - January 5, 2010

With 2009 now coming to a close, GRAVEHILL would like to announce that our partnership with ENUCLEATION RECORDS is officially concluded. We’d like to thank our friend and Brother Greg Drudy / ENUCLEATION RECORDS for all his support of GRAVEHILL. As the saying goes “When a door closes… a window opens!” thus moving into a new year and a new chapter of our career we’d like to announce our signing to IBEX MOON RECORDS!

“Death Metal is Eternal under the Ibex Moon!” No phrase could be more appropriate for the likes of GRAVEHILL! Sharing a label home with bands like INCANTATION, GOREAPHOBIA, ASPHYX, ACHERON, FATALIST, HOD and DIVINE EVE is exactly where GRAVEHILL belongs! Due to our new partnership we have 3 new releases to discuss…
The first order of business is the 12” Vinyl Release of “RITES OF THE PENTAGRAM” which will contain special packaging strictly for the die-hard collector! Look for this release on IBEX MOON RECORDS in February/March 2010’!

The second order of business is the CD re-release of “RITES OF THE PENTAGRAM” which will include the 5 song “METAL OF DEATH / ADVOCATION OF MURDER & SUICIDE” EP, complete with new packaging and under the black mark of IBEX MOON RECORDS! This re-release will soon follow the vinyl version in the spring of 2010’!
The last order of business… Summer of 2010 will see the release of GRAVEHILL’s sophomore record “PRAVUS TYRANNIS!” Returning to Trench Studios (again) under the skilled engineering helm of John Haddad, we hope to commission Kris Verwimp for all artwork but sadly may have to settle on a secondary choice. Some titles set to appear on this release are “Unholy Executioner”, “Suffer No Man to Live”, “When All Roads Lead to Hell”, “Devil Worshiper,” and “War Prayers” to name a few.

In closing… early 2010 will also see the release of the Relapse Records “Death Metal EP Series”, this is a strictly 7” EP vinyl release featuring one band per side, the first of said series features GRAVEHILL and CARDIAC ARREST. This exclusive release has the song “OF WOLVES AND WICKEDNESS” recorded during the “METAL OF DEATH / ADVOCATION OF MURDER & SUICIDE” EP session. This series will eventually see a CD release; refer to www.relapse.com for more details.

So, in other words... not being opened minded, not having class or sophistication, not being anything more than a primitive minded approach to underground olden Death Metal... nothing more needs to be asaid or claimed, the music speaks for itself!

Taking our influence from olden acts like Autopsy, Bathory, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Massacre/Death, Mercyful Fate, Slayer, Sodom, and Venom, Having the audacityt to name our band GRAVEHILL is a tribute to these acts; the purity and spirit associated are by no means an accident.
